Bay Vista Motel

Amazing service, very sweet and understanding! The beds were the comfiest we’ve ever slept in, which is so important to us! We slept wonderfully to have the best experience in PEI with our family!

I spent two nights here in mid-June with my family. It's a charming little place with lovely, natural surroundings—lots of greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were one of the highlights: very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. However, the property itself is a bit dated. There are a few areas that could use improvement. For example, the TV in the room was quite small and not centered, and the overall look and feel of the room wasn’t great—it felt a little worn. That said, it’s excellent value for money. The breakfast was decent—not outstanding, but functional and appreciated. The property doesn’t offer many amenities, and unfortunately, we couldn’t use the pool as it was still under maintenance and scheduled to reopen later. Still, it has everything you need if you’re not expecting luxury. Nothing stood out as particularly bad, especially if your main goal is to stay near Cavendish and explore the area. The location is great—quiet and peaceful, yet only about a kilometer from the Cavendish Boardwalk, so it's fairly central. If you’re looking for a quiet, basic, and budget-friendly place to stay in Cavendish, I would definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful time. The motel grounds are beautifully manicured with lots of tiger lillies, rooms are very clean and updated. Loved the swimming pool. Location is excellent. Great continental breakfast. Owners are very friendly.

Great place to relax , Rooms are clean and bed sheets and towels are changed daily if wanted . A beautiful pool outside the motel and very clean . I would recommend this motel and would definitely go back there again

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Bay Vista and we are very happy with our stay! The motel isn’t fancy but it’s everything you need to be comfortable. We stayed with our infant son and a pack and play was provided for us. The pool was great and very clean, we enjoyed the breakfast and fresh coffee every morning. The location is excellent, and the motel is set far back from the road so it is very peaceful with a beautiful view. We will stay here again!

The rooms are dated but exceptionally clean. The grounds are very well cared for. It’s an excellent value considering the location. The service is awesome and very friendly.

Bay Vista Motel is truly a hidden gem near PEI National Park. The location is perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and just minutes away from the park. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. We originally planned to stay only one night, but we loved it so much that we immediately extended our stay for another night the next morning. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. The service was excellent and thoughtful in every detail. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—it was a great start to the day. We would definitely love to come back and stay for a few more days next time. Highly recommended!

Wonderful location with really great staff. They have a pool, offer breakfast and laundry (for a cost). There’s other amenities didn’t use, including a fire pit & BBQ. There’s a nice yard with a swings and a small play structure for younger kids. The rooms are a bit outdated, but very clean with a fridge & microwave. Bathroom was clean with a nice tub/shower. Our room had a cute little front porch with 2 chairs, perfect to sit outside after putting kids to bed.
